Khu di tích Đồng Khởi Bến Tre được UBND tỉnh ra quyết định xây dựng vào năm 1998, trong khuôn viên với tổng diện tích hơn 4.600 m2. Công trình được khánh thành và đưa vào sử dụng năm 2000. Khu di tích Đồng Khởi Bến Tre là nơi ghi dấu lịch sử cách mạng hào hùng của dân tộc ta trong những năm kháng chiến chống Pháp, Mỹ.
